Jodi Quas, Ph.D, Professor of Psychological Science at UCI, will be sharing from her expertise on interventions for vulnerable children/families, and effects of stress on memory in children and adolescents. Dinner will be served and a program for children and teens will be provided. RSVPs required.

About
Jodi Quas, Ph.D., Professor of Psychological Science at UCI, will be sharing from her expertise on interventions for vulnerable children and families, and effects of stress on memory in children and adolescents.
Dr. Quas' research interests include memory development in early childhood, effects of stress and trauma on children’s development, and children’s involvement in the legal system. Specific interests include strategies to improve children’s narrative productivity and accuracy; the effects of stress on children’s memory; emotional regulation and physiological reactivity as predictors of children’s coping with and memory for stressful events; jurors’ perceptions of child witnesses; and consequences of legal involvement on child witnesses and victims.
Dinner will be served to adults.
Pizza and childcare will be provided for children ages 0-12.
Pizza and games will be provided for teens.
This is a FREE event for families providing care for children throuth foster care, adoption, guardianship, and kinship placements.
