About
Cindy Reis has specialized in helping children with anxiety, trauma, special needs, giftedness, adoption issues, OCD, peer and social issues, depression, neurodiversity, addiction in the family, and grief for over 35 years. Her graduate studies were in Family Systems Theory from Phillips Graduate Institute, a foundation that assisted her to this day in valuing the entire system around a child. Cindy is an adoptive parent and has 10 years experience providing foster care to special needs children. She was an expert witness for the Attorny general's office in WA state regarding parenting and the welfare of children for over 15 years.
Cindy is a Registered Play Therapist (RPT-S) and is also trained in (1) EMDR with a speciality in treating trauma in children, (2) Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), (3) Gestalt Therapy with children, (4) Flash Therapy, Behavior Therapy from the Behavioral Therapy Training Institute (BTTI), (5) Level…
